Literature Text

Sunshine,
isn't your heart still reaching for stars
and your wishes already blowing in the wind?

Too bad your body is so tangible.

Your heart is about to leave my gravity field,
I can feel it at the outer fringes of my stratosphere.

Would it be unfair to pull you back?
Self-serving to ask stellar winds
to blow your wishes my way?

Tell me, space traveller, straight into my homebound face:
These hands that still hold you,
should they let go?
Question for my dear readers: Do you feel the I-persona speaking in this poem is male or female?

Now, I'm being very very careful what I type ;)
now that's a hard question, I didn't get a real sense of it being more one then the other, I could be sexist and say that the ideas and way you write it is feminine but I also know some good song writers who are male that could have written this... So I'm not sure? Can you tell me ? ;)
